In early 2012, we obtained quotations from five companies for the painting of our townhome community of 54 units. We selected PaintMaster due to their emphasis on quality and customer service as well as their willingness to work with us on sticking to a certain cost point. The owner, Mike Rosasco, patiently assisted us in selecting colors, including the testing of sample colors prior to our final decision. He explained the process that his crew would follow, including pressure washing, careful and detailed preparation work, the application of primer since we were switching from alkyd paint to latex/acrylic, and finally the application of the paint.
The members of our community loved Mike’s crew and constantly complimented not only the professionalism of the painters but their diligence and attention to detail. Concrete surfaces and shrubbery were always carefully covered and there were no spills or drops. Paint was applied with brushes, and sprayers were never used. Crews showed up on time and all work was completed on schedule.
Prior to invoicing, Mike personally inspected the work, made corrections or adjustments where necessary, then inspected again with a community representative to ensure the work wa s satisfactory. On the rare occasions when there were problems caused primarily by residents who closed their newly painted doors before the paint was fully cured, Mike’s crew returned and re-painted, standing by the warranty offered in the proposal.
PaintMaster will remain our paint contractor of choice in our community due to their honesty, professionalism, constant communication via phone and email and willingness to go above and beyond to exceed our expectations.
